The spanBOX 505 ROUTE appliance provides enterprise-class network routing and security for the SME/SMB who does not need a dedicated rack. It supports the full range of standard network protocols and services in a high-performance small form-factor hardware appliance. The spanBOX 505 appliance is recommended as a LAN/WAN Gateway, Firewall, and can also be deployed as Service Provider Edge router for low density Wimax POPs. The rackmount version of the spanBOX 505 Appliance is the spanBOX 1505 Appliance.
